So typically you'd have some kind of "on" function that would be assigned to the first press and corresponding "off" function that's assigned to the second press. Run the XTouch Mini in MC mode (led for MC MODE should be on, if not, hold down the bottom left button while plugging in the USB cable). You can also setup a button as a toggle so that it does one thing when you press it the first time and something else when you press it the second time. You can make buttons that take you to other pages of buttons so you could create a menu structure or a simple sequence of pages that you step through forwards and backwards. Also note that it's very easy to setup multiple pages of buttons so you're not just limited to one command per physical button. I would still say the mini is nicer than the standard version if you can live with just six buttons. The mini has a nice base but it's not removable and a hard-wired USB-A cable. The standard version has a really cheap feeling stand and a hard-wired USB-A cable. E.g.David Hutchinson wrote:Yes, Streamdeck and Companion work great, get the xl version- you always need more buttons. The XL also has a much nicer base that attaches magnetically and it has a removable USB-C cable so you can use cables of different lengths and you can use a USB-C to USB-A cable or a USB-C to USB-C cable as appropriate.
